Only 16 at the time, Maris first wowed us with her entry in the 2016 # PMJSearch competition, where she earned “Fan Favorite” status. Two years later, you better believe we’re still into her! We should be over all the butterflies we felt when we first heard the Montana-based teenage chanteuse’s voice, but they start fluttering all over again when Maris brings her hands-in-pockets cool to the simmering first verse of Scott’s jazzy arrangement.

Then when the brass kicks in and she swings into high gear, well, some things just make sense. The horn section is even moved to offer Maris a little token of their affection, courtesy flutist Jacob Scesney.
