Ariana Savalas Sings “Thong Song” Reboxed With Tapper Alex MacDonald

The sultry (and hilarious!) Ariana Savalas stole the show as the “femcee” of our Western Europe tour dates, so we took a day off in Paris to record this “reboxed” version of our 1930s style remake of Sisqo’s “Thong Song,” originally featuring Blake Lewis.  Watch Ariana and PMJ tap dancer, Alex MacDonald star in this new video:

Ariana is quite simply an original: she effortlessly combines the traditions of cabaret, jazz, and comedy into a unique style all her own – or, as she describes herself, “Peggy Lee meets Miss Piggy.”  Her performance hosting our #PMJtour shows was simply unforgettable (ask anyone in the front rows, especially!), and this video – which also features some tight musicianship from #PMJtour bandleader Jesse Elder and the rest of the crew – captures Ariana’s natural charisma and vocal talent.
