LaVance Colley is currently stunning audiences with his incredible four octave vocal range on our European tour, and this video follows up his virtuosic debut video of “Halo.”  Like “Halo,” this video showcases his effortless vocal chops and natural charisma, only this time in a more upbeat setting.

This was a really fun video to make. Stylistically, I wanted this arrangement to channel some of the most enduring works of the great Ray Charles, and added a few touches reminiscent of “Hit The Road Jack” and “What’d I Say.”  Like Ray Charles was decades ago, LaVance is heavily influenced by Gospel music, so his voice was a perfect fit.  I also added PMJ newcomers Tara Louise (from our viral “Bye Bye Bye” cover) and Briana Lee to add some sweet Raylettes-style harmonies.
