The always saucy Ariana Savalas is back this week with a shagadelic ’60s PMJ remake of Shaggy’s cheater’s mantra, “It Wasn’t Me.” The notorious #PMJtour “Femcee” sings the song like she’s guilty of every word of it – and maybe a little more besides. See what she can get away with here:

Really, it’s the only tactic possible when you’re caught in flagrante delicto butt naked on the bathroom floor: claim “It Wasn’t Me!” A longtime PMJ friend who always adds a risqué flair and a gleefully naughty flirtatiousness to the party, Ariana Savalas sings the song like she’s not exactly sweating the fact that she got caught red-handed with the girl next door.
But anyone who’s seen Ariana’s previous stints with PMJ or her pulse-racing cabaret-style shows can tell you, getting up to no good in public is what she’s all about. She is, after all, the daughter of Telly Savalas, the lollipop-loving dirtiest of the Dirty Dozen.
PMJ channels the brassy, bubbly 1960s with punchy horn lines that would make Tom Jones giddy in Scott Bradlee’s arrangement of Shaggy’s crossover hit from 2000. What’s definitely not unusual is the throwback flair that the band brings to the tune, a perfect vehicle for Ariana’s winking, seductive abandon. To be a true player, Shaggy sagely notes, you have to know how to play – well, Ariana could teach the class! There’s no staying mad when your foot’s tapping like this.
