Our community events are back in full swing and man, we could not be more excited! From pack walks to dog-friendly breweries and beach clean ups, we’ve started our 2021 events off strong! Here’s a quick wrap up of our first two events this year and what we have planned coming up…
In Celebration of Earth Month, we knew hosting a beach clean up was a MUST for an event. Through one of our Pup Scouts Parents, we were able to meet the lovely Cristina of PlasticMeNot, and host a beach clean up at the ever popular dog beach in Huntington.
As the founder of PlasticMeNot, Cristina builds on her formal education in Marine Biology and educates others on plastic pollution prevention.
While the weather was pretty cold, as we did a sunset clean up, our mighty team of 11 people showed up for mother earth! In total, we removed 25.72 lbs. of trash in just one hour! Cristina led our team in proper trash removal, educating us what to look out for, how to report dead animals we may find and more. It was a wonderful event that was perfect for all ages and to have our dogs in tow was the cherry on top!

We started the beginning of May “Pack Walk & Chillin”. Our South County Manager, Hope, led a pack walk through the Rancho San Clemente Ridgeline Trail and we ended the day at Left Coast Brewing Company’s Tasting Room in San Clemente.
Exercise, socialization and hanging with pack pals… it was a classic recipe for some Pup Scouts fun! Check out our pups in action with their Pack Parents showing them how it’s done!
Left Coast Brewing Co. was super generous and donated 10% of their sales that day to local non-profit Leashes of Love. In total, we were able to raise $150.00 towards their mission of rescuing homeless and abandoned animals. A BIG THANKS to Left Coast Brewing Co. for your amazing generosity in helping us give back to our local community and pups!

Our next event is coming May 23rd and we’ll be hitting the water and PADDLE WITH PUPS! Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayaking is on the agenda as we’re going to have an epic morning enjoying Dana Point Harbor along with some cute pups in life vests!
We will have refreshments, raffles from some of our community sponsors, free pup prizes and more!
